Dear Comrades,
We have been closely following the devastation caused by Hurricane Matthew in Cuba and in the region. First of all, we wanted to extend our deepest wishes for an immediate recovery to all Cuban citizens who suffered from the hurricane.
Once again we have witnessed how the advanced system of disaster management of Cuba and the ability of Cubans to act organized and in solidarity, prevented the loss of lives and enabled that the wounds to be healed even under limited circumstances. These are the achievements of Cuban socialism.
We wanted to reiterate that Cuba continues to inspire us even in the toughest circumstances.
