February 14 was the 48th anniversary of the foundation of the Confederation of Revolutionary Workers’ Trade Unions (DISK), one of the most significant working class organizations in Turkey. DISK celebrated its anniversary with a workers’ rally against the bans on strike.
The Communist Party, Turkey, saluted the anniversary of DISK with a Central Committee statement, which underlined the necessity to raise the working class struggle in order to get away with the reactionary AKP government.
The Communist Party, Turkey, which has been an active part of the metal workers’ strike of the last weeks, also took its part in the rally.
